In Ireland we have 4 seasons in 1 day! But no real snow however in Holland we do have snow!
Bo
, who likes water anyway, has had a soort of snow bath today.
Gai
had a lot of snow fun with his 'sister' Rhaya and
Nanyanika
has played with friends Navi and Stuwi.

past for his puppy course! And today the 18th Teun also past his puppy course! Congradulations to these great boys
Another great boy in our middle. Rufaro!!! It's going very well with him. He is allowed to walk freely again and can do
his thing. He needed this after two weeks of rest. Furthermore Thombi became his sister in crime.
It also turned out he is very smart. Due to his injury he was mentaly trained with dog-puzzels. He solved those very fast.
Also the behavior training is very easy for him. Marjolein makes up new tricks all the time but she has to watch out,
otherwise he becomes a circus dog. Super! All together we can say Rufaro is doing really well!

Herewith a total update of the past month. New pictures of

We went to visit Bo with Gai and Nanyanika at the 7th of August.
Likozi Agwari Agabu "Druss" started as the first pup out of the Likozi Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel a show in
the babyclass. He had a lot of fun that day and came home with a beauntiful show report. We are proud of this
little boy.

Today Luca did his EG2 exam. It was raining heavilly, but still Luca did his best which resulted in a
2nd place and past his exam.
We are very proud of him. It was the third time he did the exam, but who gains who wins. We will now go
one with the next course!

The pups are already one week old, its all going so fast! And again this week we make a lot of pictures.
By the end of this week the pups should open their eyes and ears. It's good looking forward to see all this
development taking place.

Likozi is 55 days pregnant, almost there. Her belly size is now 88 cm. She's eating quit a lot, and she's still
very fit for a fat lady! I can feel the puppies move now and you can see her belly moving.
When I lay my hand on her belly the puppies are dancing on the palm of my hand, very special!

Likozi is already 48 days pregnant, time’s flying. At this moment she is growing very fast,
in eleven days her belly size grew from 61 to 84 cm. She is getting a fat dog! Every time I ask Likozi:
“Where are your puppies?” Then she turns on her side, lifts here hind leg and points her nose to her belly.
Then I stroke her belly and sometimes try to feel the puppies. But until now no results yet, so I have to be
patient.

Likozi is 37 days pregnant. Her appetite is again very good. Her belly has grown from 55 to 61 cm. She is
doing very well. Now the weather is very warm, we make the walks during morning and evenings longer, in between
just short walks.

We are relaxing with the whole family on the veranda. The dogs getting some sun as well. We have to take
care that the dogs are not lying on Ian’s playing cloth. But unfortunately a baby and a dog on one square meter
don’t fit. And however they go very well together, dogs with babies is still a risk. Still all together makes
a very nice picture.

Today Likozi’s sister gave birth to some beautiful puppies. Mother and puppies are both well. The father of these
pups is Pronkberg Makari. You can check out the puppies on:

Likozi does not like her food for the last mornings; she looks at us if we are crazy. We divide her food in
several smaller portions per day which goes well. Luca is doing the same; he is forced to being pregnant as well.
Likozi does not want to play with Luca anymore, she finds him to wild. Sad enough for Luca because Likozi does
challenge him, next Likozi ignores him and then Luca stands abashed. So now we cycle a bit more with Luca, to
get rid of his energy.

Likozi is pregnant! We have someone felt and found puppies inside. Leendert and Myself felt as well
and felt the small “bulbs”, very unusual. Likozi in the meanwhile has grown from 55 to 58 centimeter.
It seems all to go well now, which we are very happy.

Yesterday and today Likozi has mated Filimon. All went very smooth and relaxed. Likozi is not yet
experienced but luckily Filimon is a real gentleman. Tomorrow is the last mating planned if Likozi still
wants, and after that we go back home. After that hope all works out.

Today we traveled to Rome from Rotterdam Airport. After a 2 hour flight we landed in Rome and got
picked up by Filimon’s owner Michaela. After Likozi and Nathascha took some extra sleep in the hotel
we went out to meet Filimon for the first time!

Past Friday Likozi’s progresteron result was 0,66, so no much rise yet. This morning she got tested
again and now she’s on 2,4. The expectation is that she can be mated during the coming week, which of
course is a wide period. We fly of to Rome tomorrow and get another progresteron test at an Italian vet
on Tuesday.

Likozi had her first progresteron test. The result is 0,64 so nothing’s the matter yet. The next test
will be on Friday. Today I have done the Cynological exam, lots of learning time put in to it the last
weeks. During the verbally exam I got questioned for one and a half hour by three tutors. And now I don’t
know anything anymore, my head is totally empty.

Likozi got in to her spring yesterday, so some arrangements are to be made. The flight to Italy is
booked on Monday the 31st of March. She has undergone a vaginal bacterial test, from which the results
are not known yet. This is pure to be sure, but we expect it to be a good result.

Past Thursday a healthy twin is born at our future puppy’s daddy’s place. Michaela and Guiseppe: Congratulations with your sons!

Likozi did here 30th show today in Mouscron (Belgium). She had a good result, just take a look at
here show rankings. This will be here last show for the time being. In March she will mate Filimon,
after which the puppies are expected in May 2008. When the puppies have left the litter, we will
continu showing with Likozi.
